After an NYE disaster last year (snowstorm, lost coats, invisible bartenders, ginormous lines, etc.) the boyfriend and I are ringing in 2010 at our friends' place. Where is this New Year's Eve taking you?

Paris de blanc vêtu (Paris in the snow). Could there seriously be anything more beautiful than this? You know when you see images of a place and you want to go there so badly you can actually feel it? Yeah that's me right now looking at these photos.

So I know this is yet another sweater post, but hey, in the winter all I
really want to wear comfy knits! I thrifted this sweater at Brick Lane
market and instantly fell in love with its quirky-ness and comfy-ness.
The gold I think makes it perfect for dressing it up.

I'm glad you all liked my short little video, I promise to make one
of actually quality soon :).

wearing: thrifted sweater; f21 leggings; h&m shoes; target hat

Hair: The best accessory in my opinion.

Have you ever seen a gown so delightfully weird and ethereal? Could only be Marc Jacobs. Christina Ricci recently wore it here.

I adore this look, head to toe.

The two best (by far) f/w '09 campaigns. Mert & Marcus for DSquared2 and Ryan McGinley for Missoni featuring Lara and Hanne Gaby, respectively. I especially love the latter because the movement of the clothes is captured so beautifully.

White Christmas

First of all... Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! This is
probably the second White Christmas I have ever experienced in

Second of all, I think ugly sweater + brogues= perfect Christmas outfit ever.
And I guess lastly, please excuse me from my long absence! Time just
flies buy at the time of year, doesn't it? Before I knew it I had realized
that it had almost been a month since I updated. Tisk, Tisk on me,
but I promise to never let it happen again. I am back home in the states
and re-united with my tri-pod ( I did not have one in London)
which means outfit photos will once again be so much easier to take!
Goal for the new year: update atleast 3 times a week.

Oh and yes... I attempted at my first video blog. Sadly, or more
like thankfully, my mother barged into my room and stopped
me from what would have probably been painful ramblings
of my inner thoughts. Ah, I hope you enjoy this short little clip,
and I hope your holiday is truly wonderful!

Wearing: Vintage sweater & Bag; Topshop brogues; f21 jeans

Soon I'll be nestled all snug in my bed, with visions of Givenchy (and Chanel and Balenciaga) dancing in my head.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Love the poinsettia/holly berry/cranberry pop of red in the scarf, perfect for the holidays.

As promised, click here for the recipe for Empire cookies

PS - Thank you so much to Cindy, The Style Spotter and Kristie for the blogger awards! (Beautiful Blogger Award, Glamorous Blog Award and Beautiful Blogger Award, respectively). Ladies, you made my day! I'm supposed to tag seven other bloggers I want to pass the award on to and share a few things about myself.

1. I have mild OCD. I need to check to make sure a door is locked three times, among other things
2. I LOVE Indian food
3. I have a Cindy Crawford-esque mole on the right side of my mouth
4. I am obsessed with paranormal TV - Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, all of it
5. I used to stage "concerts" for my parents when I was little

And the seven bloggers...

PSA - Luisaviaroma is now accepting pre-orders for the Balmain s/s '10 collection. Prices range from $315 (pricey but not scary) for a tank top to a colossal $55,809 for a crocodile tail coat leather jacket
Or you could opt for a Porsche Boxster for nearly the same price.
